Having recently adopted my own I’ve started navigating the canine world in Dubai and have found some absolutely amazing pet and doggie friendly companies that supply everything from ice cream for your pooch (seriously!) to the best accessories, modelling opportunities and much more. Firstly, how cool is the name of this fabulous brand which brings us some of the best dog and cat accessories in town. From sophisticated dog beds (because some of the conventional ones can look less than lovely in your chic home) to travel products, collars, leads, harnesses and much more – there are even some seriously cute gifts including bow ties, bandanas and even designer dog fragrance (if your pooch is a bit pongy). Perfect for the doggie stocking at Christmas (yup, we’re doing that this year!).
Howl & Growl was born of a huge love for animals combined with the search for decent, cool and good quality kit for dogs and cats. The website will be launching soon but check out their retail space at Toil & Tinker – they’ll also be popping up soon at Boston Lane and will be regulars at the Ripe Market.

Furchild came about after its founders discovered that their bulldog puppy Maximus first showed signs of illness due to poor nutrition. Sign them up for a spot of modelling through The Animal Agency who’ll put them forward for all sorts of cool jobs and manage their bookings too plus set up everything from pet photo shoots if you want a few professional pics of your pooch to organic pet birthday cakes. Oh and your animals can contribute to the household income (and make up for all those chewed shoes…).
