YAY! The long weekend is finally here – we’ve gathered our favourite indoor activities to do this weekend in the desert city! Have a good one, mama!

With the long weekend coming up, Fahrenheit Beach Sports is bringing back the popular Kids Camp, kicking off over 2 days this Saturday and Sunday. Loads of cool stuff to do the whole day, so drop ’em off parents…they’ll take good care of your groms!

When: Saturday, 22 April – Sunday, 23 April
Where: 1 Jumeirah Beach Rd, Dubai
How much: AED 200 per person per day or AED 350 per person for both days

Calling all Jurassic Park fans! For the first time in Dubai, Jurassic Park will be screened at the Dubai Opera. Enjoy a dynamic experience of the film like no other, as each twist and turn taken by the film’s characters, and of course dinosaurs, will come to life through the suspenseful sounds of the the world-renowned 21st Century Symphony Orchestra. Expect a combination of the thrill of seeing an action-packed classic on a big screen with the acoustics of a state-of-the-art auditorium this weekend.

When: Thursday, 20 April (8pm) – Friday, 21 April (3pm)

ShakespeareMacbeth

One of the most famous and studied works from Shakespeare makes it to Dubai’s spotlight with an immersive and all-female cast. Bring the fam over for this Macbeth adaptation with a modern twist, highlighting just how relevant the themes of this play still are in today’s world. Prepare to see some creative assaults and truly feel part of the production’s promenade theatrical experience.

When: Friday, 21 April – Saturday 22 April (8pm)

Seaside Market at Kite BeachSeaside Market at Kite Beach

The ever so popular concept you have before seen at The Beach is now at your favourite hangout place – Kite Beach. You can find everything you need (and don’t need) from locally produced product, ornaments, jewellery, accessories, crafts and much more. Don’t miss out the live entertainment, free exercise classes and a great selection of unique and unusual items on offer, from beach wear, to accessories to home decor – this is a market not to be missed!

Movie Under the StarsMovie Under the Stars

There’s nothing we love more than watching movies outdoor with the fam – West14th Steakhouse is screening 2 classic movies: Storks at 6:30pm and The Amazing Spider Man at 8:30pm! Get down early and grab your tasty treats(we’re talking about mouthwatering hotdogs and popcorns) Don’t forget to take advantage of the Happy Hour 4pm to 8pm!

Where: West14th Steakhouse
How much: Free entry
