The weekend is (without a doubt) our favourite time of the week, so we’ve made sure to pack our calendar with plenty of awesome, family-friendly events. With the Kidette store opening, a Dragon Boat race and a Superhero event all happening over the next few days, it’s time to make the most of it, mamas!
Kidette Store Opening
Shopping for the kids is easy (ahem, a little too easy sometimes…), but keeping their style inline with ours (and our budget) is where it can get tricky. Well, guess what, mamas? We’re in luck: this new luxury kids store opens in “The Mall” on Jumeirah Beach Road, and we’re all invited to their launch! With 30 brands from all over the world you can guarantee there’s plenty to love for your little boys and girls.

Dubai Nursery Show
We all know picking a safe space for your little to learn can be tricky… So if you’ve been hunting for a mama-approved resource, this interactive program offers us just the chance to check out Dubai’s best nurseries! With entertainment, refreshments and prizes to be won, their whole aim is to take away the confusion and stress of picking the ‘perfect’ school. Sounds pretty perfect to us.

Dubai Marina Dragon Boat Festival
Looking for something a little bit different? Unleash the Dragon at Dubai Marina this weekend! This hot spot location has partnered with the UAE Dragon Boat Association to hold the inaugural (and seriously cool) Dubai Marina Dragon Boat Festival. So take advantage of the sun, head over to the Marina’s waterway, and watch it come alive as teams from across the UAE and beyond compete.

Kidville Superhero Training Events
Got a wannabe superhero at home, mamas? Internationally acclaimed nursery, kiddie class and birthday specialist, Kidville, is calling all caped crusaders aged 3 and upwards to an awesome Superhero Training Class! These experts will keep creative juices flowing and keep your kiddos artistic powers at their peak with arts & crafts and superhero mask making (so that they can continue their games at home)!

KidZania Yoga Classes
KidZania, the unique ‘edutainment’ attraction in The Dubai Mall, is inviting mamas and littles to discover their inner ‘yogis’ and ‘yoginis’. With Mum & Baby Yoga, Young Kids Yoga (for 2 to 5 year olds), and a Kids Yoga Class (for 5+ year olds), there are classes that cater to all ages (and abilities – phew!). Enhanced flexibility, strength, coordination and body awareness? Sounds good to us!
