Keen to redecorate, mamas? These tips will help you make your child’s room gorgeous
Jotun have recently launched a new kids’ collection of paints inspired by the spirit of creativity and exploration. Called Jotun’s World of Wonders collection, the brilliant thing is that this new range has been crafted and inspired not by grownups but by the most passionate and imaginative souls we know, our kids! Yellow is not just a colour. It is daffodils dancing in an open field, a builder’s hat blown by the wind, a big flying school bus and the belly of a busy bee.
As parents and adults, we always want to make sure we are constantly encouraging and inspiring our kid’s imaginations. With these few creative tips by Rana Khadra, Colour & Creative Manager at Jotun MEIA, you’ll find new ways and ideas to turn their rooms into imaginative dens.
Paint can be used not just to colour a wall but also to define a certain space, divide it or even highlight it. Try painting the ceiling in the same colour as the wall and watch how the room becomes cozier and more harmonious! Further, try dividing the wall into two halves or why not separate the bedroom from the playroom by giving each space a different colour. If a room is shared by two brothers for example, one can have green behind his bed and the other can have yellow.
